AI Demand Accelerates Growth
The world’s largest manufacturer of Nvidia servers and a major Apple supplier is benefiting from the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence. Foxconn’s profit already increased by 35% year-on-year in the second quarter, surpassing analysts’ expectations. The company expects its performance to gain further momentum in the third quarter, supported by growing demand for AI solutions and the start of the peak season for information and communications technology products.

August Revenue Reaches a Record High
The positive outlook is supported by August revenue, which increased by 51.98% year-on-year to T$921.8 billion, equivalent to approximately $29.15 billion. This marked the company’s highest-ever revenue for August and the second consecutive month in which sales exceeded T$900 billion. Foxconn did not provide a specific numerical forecast but said its expectations for the third quarter had improved compared with the previous month.
Global Uncertainty Remains a Risk
Foxconn’s performance shows that the rapid growth of investment in artificial intelligence is also creating new opportunities for hardware manufacturers and their suppliers. Delivering on the positive outlook will depend not only on sustained demand but also on developments in the global political and economic environment, which the company described as volatile.
