Strong Financial Performance and Growth Outlook
ASML is once again raising the bar. In the second quarter, ASML’s net sales increased by 21% to €9.3 billion, surpassing market expectations. Net profit reached €2.92 billion, exceeding the consensus estimate of €2.62 billion and representing a 27% increase compared to the same period last year.
Furthermore, the company raised its full-year net sales guidance for 2026 from the previous range of €36 billion to €40 billion to a new target of €43 billion to €45 billion. Gross profit margin guidance was also increased from 51%-53% to 54%-56%. ASML also plans to expand its production capacity for both low numerical aperture (NA) EUV and deep ultraviolet (DUV) immersion lithography systems by 30% in 2027, with considerations for an additional 30% increase in 2028.
